After attending the University of Georgia as a scholarship athlete from 1973 through 1977, Mr. Robinson enjoyed an eight-year professional football career as an NFL and USFL quarterback. Upon retirement in 1986, Matt began a successful commercial real estate career. In 2001 his real estate education took a new direction as Senior Vice President with Summit Contractors. Mr. Robinson was responsible for Summit’s growth surge of $196mm of revenue to over $380mm in just two years. During that same time, Matt was also a founding partner of HomeTeam Equity, a residential mortgage company. Robinson divested all of the real estate and mortgage interests in 2016 having already joined American In-Home Care (AIHC) in 2014 as the Sales Manager. Matt is now the acting General Manager for AIHC North, a private duty home care service firm.
Along with his business responsibilities, Robinson’s continued love of sports kept him busy as a member of the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars Broadcast Division from 1995 to 2003. Robinson is a former draft pick by the New York Jets and played with the Jets, Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Bulls of the United States Football League.
